Jeffrey M. Kolokoff

Jeffrey M. Kolokoff is a trial attorney at Beighley, Myrick, Udell & Lynne P.A.. He represents clients in a broad range of matters including insurance defense, commercial litigation and criminal defense. Mr. Kolokoff is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts in Florida and in the District of Columbia, and in numerous other courts. He is a graduate of Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude 2006; Certificate in Advanced Legal Drafting, Research, and Writing) and Bucknell University (B.A. Economics, 2001). Additionally, Mr. Kolokoff is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a skilled investigator of financial and banking fraud.

Mr. Kolokoff gained experience in consumer finance, financial markets and stock brokerage while working at two of the world’s largest and most respected brokerage firms, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley prior to earning his law degree.

Mr. Kolokoff began his legal career an Assistant State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida for six years and focused his practice on complex white collar fraud and tried numerous jury trials to verdict. In addition to fraud cases, Mr. Kolokoff also prosecuted drug trafficking, violent crimes, sexual battery and other crimes. Mr. Kolokoff also served as Assistant Chief of the County Court Division and was featured speaker at numerous training and continuing legal education programs.

Mr. Kolokoff is also active in the legal community and a member of the Dade County Bar Association, League of Prosecutors, The Recording Academy, and various other organizations. Additionally, he is a member of the Florida Bar Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law.
